"Funktheduck" (funktheduck)

I was hoping to watch the Falcons game tonight since I’ll be all my lonesome and no gf home to annoy with “sportsball.” But.... (UPDATE: the internet lied to me. It’s on NBC so I can watch it but the audio is out of sync for some reason and it skips a bit because it’s the worst over the air channel I get at my house)
I need Sunday Night Ticket (for a Thursday night game) to stream online or an expensive cable package for NFL Network (which I don’t have cable at all).
And the NFL wonders why ratings are down. A destroyed Jetta that is an analogy for how I feel about this.

Another one on NFL Network only? It’s like they don’t even want people to watch Thursday games.

SlingTV gives fairly cheap access to NFL Network (and a few other channels) as well.

True. I was hoping to send my gf a pic with football on tv and a disassembled carb on her coffee table.

I know. I think the logic is they think their product is so good and necessary to life that everyone will pay. I’m a fan of my team but not enough to pay the ridiculous cable prices and packages.

I’ve thought about sling but it’s just another thing to pay for.

My misses feels the same way, she loves hockey but the prices are stupid high for streaming.. why not sell per game passes for like $2.99 we’d pay that to watch a game every once n a while when we have time.

Normally, yes. Not tonight.

Nice part is ability to change package on the fly; after NFL Network games are over, I’ll probably ditch that part of the service till September. Admittedly a bill, but cheaper than cable for ESPN/NFL/etc access.

Any family members with a cable/satellite subscription who will loan you their password so you can log in to the stream on nfl.com?

They’re losing that bet.
I’m in the same boat. No cable, just broadcast, which nets me 14/16 games plus playoffs. Good enough.

Yeah. I looked it up online and it specifically said it wasn’t on NBC but had their announcers.
